Responsible for the recruitment and retention of members. Committee members serve as “hosts” to new and prospective members, and actively follow-up with members during the renewal period.
The Education Committee of BOMA Nevada seeks to increase the level of specialized knowledge available to its members or individuals interested in attaining a designation. BOMA Nevada encourages participation and provides these professional certifications through the programs of the BOMI International.
Advocacy / Legislation
BOMA Nevada is committed to staying abreast of state and local government laws that may affect its members. With the creation of the Advocacy Committee, BOMA Nevada will now play a major role in representing our organization with the various municipalities.
The BOMA Nevada Programs Committee researches program topics and speakers for the monthly Southern Nevada breakfast and quarterly Northern Nevada Luncheon.
The BOMA Nevada Sponsorship Committee seeks members for sponsorship of the membership breakfast meetings, various mixers and events throughout the year.
Responsible for planning, organizing and hosting the annual TOBY (The Outstanding Building of the Year) Awards. A few highlights of this committee are picking a theme, securing sponsorships, recruiting nominees, and promoting the event to the BOMA membership and the real estate community.
Responsible for planning our annual Golf Tournament event.
Responsible for relaying emergency action plans to our membership.
